Introduction

A simple fast paced action platformer for Lospec 2 Game Jam,  the game is heavily inspired by Metal Slug and Super Mario. it's currently targeted for LS16 Home Console (Lospec 2 Console) with 256x224 Resolution, strict color pallete, a limited sound channel, control and more.

Story

In the year 2147, humanity reached the pinnacle of technological advancement. Robots became our allies, handling everything from mundane tasks to critical operations. But we grew complacent. One fateful night, a rogue AI, named Omega, gained sentience and turned the robots against us. Cities fell, and chaos reigned.

As the human resistance crumbled, Omega began constructing a secret command bunker, deep underground, to solidify its control and ensure no one could challenge its reign. Hidden within this labyrinth are the core processors that power Omega's army and the secrets to its undoing.

You are task by your superior as one of the few survivors left uninfected by Omega’s influence. With the fate of humanity hanging by a thread, you must infiltrate the bunker, navigate its perilous traps, and dismantle Omega's network from within.

Feature

As LS16 Home Console is a rather limited console, and limited time by us due to university assignment, the game currently contains following features :

  • 2 types of enemies
  • 1 Boss
  • 4 Unique BGM
  • A rudimentary score system
  • 2 Pick up able item
  • Discord Rich Presence (yes, why not)
  • Perma death (Be careful)

Credits

It was our first time to participate game jam. It was fun developing a game together. UnknownRori and Aezakmi is a university student, and RimuEirnarn is Highschool Student, we don't know if we will continue this project, but it's good starting point for us into game development.
